It seems the genuine slabs are showing up more and more. Looks like someone trying to get back all his money including the slabbing fee. What is the 91? From look it seems like questionable color. I am just glad they are not cracking them out of the slabs.

Ain't that the truth. With those pics you would never know there was a problem with it. Although if it was priced right it wouldn't matter that much.

Looks like a MS-65 RO to me.

I just really wish that PCGS would do something to illustrate that this coin has damage. I would love to see them state in words (not serial number code) that this coin has questionable color. I think that and a different color tag in the slab (like a red tag...so it stands out) would be an excellent and easy change to make. It would prevent people from trying to rip people off like this.

Is that a fake plastic slab never seen a label like that without the grade and genuine what a joke I thing the slab is a fake.:rolling:

Now the conterfieters are making fake slabs and putting plastic copper coins :rolling:in it and probably sealing the case with some strong glue:hammer: so you could never break it open to see if you were ripped off:(

    JC:eek:

The slab isn't fake. PCGS is slabbing problem coins now as "genuine" rather than putting them in a body bag. It means the coin is real but has a problem. The "91" in serial number indicates a problem with the coin's color as the reason it couldn't be graded.

When a coin doesn't grade PCGS puts it in a "genuine" holder. This has been going on for some months now.
