I sold an item on ebay for someone and want to calculate how much I owe them. But I don't know how to go about finding out how much money I owe in fees for ebay and paypal.

Is there a simple way to calculate how much the fees will be?

    Much appreciated.

Fees are 30 cents + 11.9% I believe for both Ebay and Paypal.

It's easy. Go to your account on ebay. If it sold, it will show you what you owe.

Yep... very simple. Here's a breakdown, as fees vary according to listing price and selling price... also depends on any auction upgrades.

After your item sells, just go to "My eBay" and click on "Account".. under "account summary" click "fees", and you'll see exactly what you were charged. For PayPal, just click "Details" for the particular item.

Did anyone read the fine print? I think eBay also lays claim to your first born if you try and skip out in paying your fees.

If you own a smart phone or a tablet there's a free app. If not there's a website.
