And here's a little carrot to chase/incentive, this was my last couple bags. I posted this in the Coin Roll Hunting Forum, so it's usually hidden from the general threads. Enjoy the stats!

That's okay, a little word of advice to you...make sure you have a good magnifier and have doubleddie.com bookmarked on your smartphone or computer. I doubled my money on those two bags ;)

I'll be happy if I double my money, I'll have to buy the other 4 bags if the first 1 is good.

That's good, I can't stand one of those Craigslist transactions gone wrong stories. Like Greg said, I want to see a pic of each coin ;)

How are the condition of the coins? Are they mostly F12 and below?

All different conditions, im going to jump the gun even though im only half way through the coins and say its mostly 40's 50's.

How much can I get for a roll of 40's or 50's on fee bay?

If you say it's a roll of 40's and 50's, then you might get $2 for it. If you say its and UNSEARCHED roll of 40's and 50's, then you can get $2.50-$3. If you say its an UNSEARCHED roll from your great grandfather's depression age hoard of 5000 cents and you throw in a few mercury dimes and BU cents in the pictures, then you can get $6 for it.

And that's just a piece of it, the key to selling these rolls is all about presentation. You need to find a crimper, some older paper rolls, and you need to practice the art of aged distressing of the paper. It's the only way you will be able to convince buyers. Apparently there are people making tons of money on these.

All you have to do is buy some Indians, get some bwr and very carefully uncrimp one end. Dump the cents out, slide an Indian in with the obverse showing out the end, put 48 wheaties in it, and then put the other Indian in the opposite way of the first. Carefully recrimp the one end, write 'Great Grandpa Jimmy's Wheats' on the side of the roll, and you will easily get someone to buy on eBay.

Based on the coins being 95% copper they have a melt value of $.02 each
