1953 s lincoln cent wrong weight ?

    i can't put my finger on no answer for sure most of the time the reason is clear but in this time its not it's got the better part of me but it good to be stumped like this sometimes it keeps me sharp i always look for the unusual coin for the uncommon well the one thing this coin makes me go hmm again all the feedback that i've got was great and help was so valueable

    I'll vote for the thin planchet but I guess it could be a coin that is faked. As already mentioned, I don't know why you would fake a coin worth less than a dime.

    i'm leaning towards thin planchet too down the road i'll find out i thought it was different and wanted to pick some brains about it and i got a lot of great opinions thats why i come to this site there is so much great info thanks again

    I think he's trying to say he wasn't in class when his grammar school teacher was explaining the concept of run-on sentences.
