Grade This 1909-P Lincoln Cent

    Yep....no VDB! There's nice cartwheels under the toning.

    I'm almost burnt-out on VDB's anymore and I appreciate the plain type more. It's like the 31-S versus the 31-D, the 31-S makes me yawn but a nice 31-D gets my love. In MS grade, I consistently see a ton more VDB's than I do the non's in the marketplace.

    Personally, I think I would give it a 65. However, it has nothing the TPG's seem to love. A 64 from them would not surprise me a bit.

    BTW you are 100% correct about that 31-D

    I would go MS-64BN, but hey that is one nice first year :)

    64BN feels right to me. Nice Lincoln!

    I have been looking for a nice 65RD or better '31-D for six years now. '31-S is not nearly as tough.

    Great minds think alike! Personally, it's a 65 but TPG-wise, a 64.
