Hi, I'm just wondering if this is fake. 1909 S Lincoln Cent

    Fully agree. The corrosion on the reverse is a huge problem and that coin will never grade because of it.

    Yes, they typically overgrade coins. Yes, I have heard of cleaned coins getting graded by NTC. However, I have not heard of them certifying a counterfeit coins.

    That being said, VG S-VDB's list for $860 at NGC and they typically run high.

    Numistrust Corporation isn't the guy down in Florida that used to go by the handle Centless that got tired of paying the real graders to grade coins for him?

    Nope! That was NNC. I have not looked into Centless lately, but my guess is they are still going, but doing mostly foreign coins.
