Well, I was waiting for that. Yes, obviously he wasn't able to check his email to see the war was over. I get it, but I still think it's interesting.
Arguably the biggest win for the US in that war was won by Jackson, after the war was over. We had already lost, and finally, he pulls out a victory.
My hometown was named after him. I still don't like him. Took too many liberties with his presidency.

 

Any president. I'm sick of them being glorified on our currency like kings. Our artists, scientists, and people who change society without being horrible enough to be in the government should be on our currency.
