I went into a pawnshop looking for coins oneday and ended up getting a job. These last 6 months have been a blast. Getting paid to sort through coins and list them on ebay was a blast. It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. Comming home with Bullion for pay was a lot of fun as well. With that being said on monday I begin classes to get my real estate license and will be going into real estate. Good times. He says he'll give me a call when they get backed up on coins, but it won't be that often. Loved it though.
congratulations on your future job in real estate! Hope you enjoy it just as much, if not more, then your pawn shop job!
When you start looking for an office to associate with, look for one that sells the high end homes in your area. There's more work for you selling a $200,000 starter home to an uneducated first time buyer that you have to hold their hand every step of the way, than selling a $600,000 home to a move up buyer who is familiar with the process. Besides do you want 3% of 200K or 3% of 600K?
I was envious of your job at the pawn shop, but could see where that could be incredibly frustrating. Hope you enjoy the real estate job and that you are successful at it. Keep collecting and posting.
I think a lot of us were envious. Glad it was a positive part of your life Jason. Maybe someday you will be able to revisit the industry. In the mean time, keep collecting.
