I am going to snag a 2005 $20 star note that has a number like 00000125 from work today. Do people collect these things at all? I just like the low number and that it was in the til. Thanks- Mike
I think there is a premium paid for lower serial numbers....just look on ebay there a lot of low serial numbers getting some high bids. i should know cause im bidding on them
YES!!! folks to collect those low serials numbers. the lower the better, mixed with the higher the quality the better... 00000001 in 70PPQ would command an extremely high price in auction i would think
Well, this one is circulated with a heavy fold and about an 1/8" tear at the bottom. It is a Series 2004, EF 00000218*. I will probably list it on Ebay and see if there are any takers, and if not, I will list it in the open section for even trade. Thanks for the info! Mike
Well, I listed it on Ebay. I am interested to see how it goes. This is the only low serial number bill I have ever found, and a star note to boot. Too bad it has that little tear. It is auction 120237766360 if anyone wants to follow it. Thanks for the help- Mike
Welcome to CT! If you like it, keep it. I you don't particularly like it, you could try and sell for a small premium on eBay...
Welcome to CT. In order to get some viewer traction I'd recommend starting a new thread. This thread is what we call a necrothread. It's from 2008 and resurrected from the dead In your new thread you should seriously consider posting a picture of the front and back of your note. GL
