No, I got you on that, and am not in the least bit angry or ticked. Much of it is humorous debate on my part. I honestly think the biggest issue is the picture--it doesn't capture the coins luster all that well, and the toning is pretty heavy and on the gilded side. Holding the coin in my hand, there is no way IMHO that it could be not MS--perhaps a grade lower? Maybe. I just don't think by looking at it that NGC blew it that big. No biggie one way or the other---I feel that grading the bright blazers that have obviously been lightly dipped is far easier. :)

The only silver I collect is seated half dimes, a Walking half IS big silver. :)

This coin has the same areas that may look like wear from the image. PCGS gave it a 66.

Not near as nice but one in AU58 by PCGS to match date and mint above.

As a new collector, I appreciate LindeDad's view, even if he does sound like he is knocking the coin a bit. I just looked at my Walker and saw the shadow lines he was talking about. My coin is a MS 64 like Morgandude11's coin. Every bit of info I can get on coins, good or bad, is valuable to me. It is one of the main reasons I come here. I still like your coin and really like mine!

Some follow-up daylight pictures of the coin in question. Definitely NOT an AU 58! I feel NGC got it right--this is in natural light and at an angle. :)
