Ok my request for info on the Chinese 10 cash coins was a bust. So now that I've got your attention, I would like to point you all into a new direction of coins/tokens that I came across the other day. This joker looks fake. One side is completely pitted and the other has a glittery look. Similar to the concrete etching I do at work. So is it a cast contemporary or modern fake? Next up! What the heck is this? The image does not look like QEII.
So is this coin really worth what Krause has it listed for or is it just wishful thinking? Mexico - 1986 - 50 Pesos - KM #495 - CN - 23.5mm - Mintage: 50,000,000 - VF $6.00, XF $10.00, UNC $12.00, BU $14.00
The top coin is a 20 Cash East Indian Trading co. & most likely from the Admiral Gardner Shipwreck due to the porosity / salt water damage on the obverse. Most examples that are out there come from this wreck.Very common & not worth much
