One box of CWR of cents. 3 wheats and a dime. I'm about ready to give up on cents. I am going to go back to a bank today that have some CWR of halves. maybe I'll get lucky with that.

Thanks! i bought all that they had. i will keep a check there though. i stopped at another local branch today and pick up $70 worth of CWR halves. two more 40%ers, a neat toned bicentennial, and a minor die clash on an 83P. shows on obverse and reverse

picked up another $90 cwr kennedies from the bank i got the $30 worth of silver.

skunk....other than a couple coins needed for an album

 

got $60 worth of CWR of halves...nothing.

 

With that Canadian it matches my best dime box - 6. Nice score!

 

Today's results:
$2 Pennies: 26 Copper.
$10 Nickles: 51P, 2X52P, 2X52D, 53S, 3X54S, 54D, 55D, 57D. All of these except the 54D were in the same roll.
$15 Dimes: Skunk.
$220 Quarters: SKUNK And of the few ATBs, all were Ds.
$1 Half dollars: Skunk. So hard to find ANY half dollars.
$19 Dollars: Skunk, no Ike.

I have never gotten a whole box of anything, I wonder if i should try it. But it would be a lot to get rid of. Dollars I spend, the self-checkout machine at the market takes them, though I don't like to do it if people are waiting. If someone has too many items in the express line, I call them on it, so I will not use a crapload of coins in the checkout machine if people are waiting, that would be hypocritical, leave that to the politicians.

I may be getting some foreign coins tomorrow...

 

My order for my first box of half dollars should be coming in tomorrow! Beyond stoked!! Anyways, I'll post results some time tomorrow. I am off work and plan to spend my day looking through those halves. =D

And, the bank at which I would buy $1000 bags of dimes (never had a skunk with a bag) stated they cannot sell bags anymore.

$65 BWR dimes: Nothing
$385 CWR dimes: I think I ran into a dump. The first 50 rolls had NOTHING. No silver, no 2009's, all in the same type of wrapper, and exactly 50 dimes in each roll. The last $135 was much better with two silver Roosies and a solid eight extra coins!

Milestone

Box of halves - 3x40%, and a '92 Proof (clad).

On a personal note, I have now found 2000 silver halves out of circulation. 65% of them were 40%ers.

 

Nice inq, I hit a milestone of 70 ounces for the year yesterday myself.

This week has been pretty good so far, although I'm kinda bummed as this is the first week in months with no reject tube finds as of yet. Still, I have 2 more boxes of halves to get this week, I'm just hoping to avoid Friday the 13th bad luck...

 

My daughter's golden birthday will be on Friday the 13th in 2019. Friday the 13th is a good luck day for my family!

 

That is a GREAT percentage of 90%ers (helped by that Frankie find you had). I would kill for that percentage. Congrats!

 

I have a feeling silver will find me in the weirdest way today.
