I know that they are not the same thing. Manufactured differently. Which is preferred (subjective)? Does the value of a MS63 coin equal the value of a PR63 version of the same coin? If not, where do I find the value of a PR coin? Please, flood me with information!

Apples and Oranges. Search completed auctions for values or use the redbook for a general idea.

Do you own a Red Book? If you do not own a Red Book you should buy one. If you do own a Red Book you should read it. The answers to your questions can be found in the Red Book (except maybe the question about which is preferred).

The answer varies with each individual coin. In some cases the Proof will be worth more, in other cases the MS will be worth more.
