1858 Flying Eagle : What is the grade and its worth?

Hi, just wondering what the coin experts out there would grade this coin and what its worth. I am in the midst of a trade and this may be included.:smile

ouch, I would not trade for that coin. It would not "grade" due to the problems but looks to have vg/f details. You can find one with less problems for a few dollars.

I would guess the value at $3 to $5.

 

This is not a coin you should want to add to your collection. Wait for a better example to come along. There are plenty of decent examples of FECs out there with honest wear and no damage.

 

I would say G-4 and perhaps up to $10. The coin does have issues.
