So when you get a note to upgrade and "replace" the previous lower graded note, do you actually sell it?

 

No. I hang on to both of them.

Been wanting this for a LONG time, finally got one in my price range that faced up like I wanted.

Wow MEC2, that is a NICE note! I've been wanting one of those for a long time as well, but it's currently out of my price range in XF.

Is that a tear at the top of the note, or is that from the scan?

 

That's where someone fed their pet rat. Figure it's a F-15 to VF-20 apparent note (grading conservatively). Still love the face up and really love the back fold ink, in great condition with great tone.

Took me long enough to hunt one down, wasn't like I hadn't been swinging at these like a drunk kid at a birthday pinata... finally nailed one!

Gonna start pushing to get a nice round set of Republic of Texas notes in affordable grade.

 

Looks like the prior owner had a larger pet rat!
