Just got done going through the rest of the Ikes I picked up yesterday and found a dozen or so MS63 or better keepers, as well as my first '71-D FEV! To make matters better, it wasn't just one, but 3 FEV's! 2 MS, one AU. The other notable keeper is a solid MS65 '76 T1 ($50 coin).

I love me some ikes. :)

1970s seem pretty common if they are large date. Small dates are not so common but have found mine in circulation.

Box of halves - 3 x 40% all in one roll which had an ender, one next to it and one near the other end. After 5 skunks it was sure nice to see some silver.

    Nice score Intrepid!!

Great score! Do you still have any of those wraps? I'd love to see a full shot of an old school wrapper.

One box of cents. 12 wheaties. Earliest was a 1917 S. The rest were 40's and 50's. Suprisingly, only one canadian.

Funny that you ask; I did. They are in a book flattening out. I will post a picture in a few days.

The earth being round, lack of a brow, and the debris lines almost bracketing the second L in DOLLAR were the biggest PUP's.

Not sure if this is in the right place, as I'm a nooooob..but a question about searching dimes:

Is this worth the jump? I search pennies at home, but at my work, I count down our drawers, once, sometimes twice a day and run through 50-200 dollars in change, each time.. and for all the wheat pennies, a couple war/buffalo nickels, occasional silver quarter, I have yet to find a silver dime in circulation there. I know they're easy to check and sorting through a box of dimes wouldn't take nearly the time that a box of pennies would, but in 15 months, I'd guess I've found nearly a roll of silver quarters and not one silver dime. Does that sound about right or am I just getting unlucky up to this point?

    Thanks in advance.

pumpkinpie what is this I don*t even

Plus an FEV has the islands in the Caribbean in a chain while the non-FEV has them seperated.

    Box of dimes last night:
    First roll: 1964 Roosie
    Next 49 rolls: Nothing.
My hopes were high, but were quickly dashed.
