1858 flying eagle cent?????

Bought this today from yard sale and was just wondering what you would consider on the grade and value of this particular coin????

Vg 35 $45 - very nice

 

Red book lists even a G4 at $28 so i think $5 is low balling a little???

It has too much detail to be g4, IMO

 

My opinion would be vg8 or f12 not entirely sure because i dont normally collect these but for $2 i couldnt go wrong.

Fine-12 sounds good -- maybe even Fine-15 based on the feather detail IMHO. Nice buy.
