New eBay Coin Policy Explained? Revised? Or?

    I just got this in my mail. I am not sure I am upset or even disagree - so long as the public understands what to expect from these TPG's (they don't) or has ready access to their honest reviews (very questionable). Any comments?

    Does this mean you could make your own slab and make up a company name and stick a grade on there? I can see coins that barely make AU all of a sudden a high end mint state coin graded by some company never heard of.

    It absolutely does! I still think if someone had to add a note (i.e SGS is noted for NOT being able to grade.) the end rfesult would be better than not mentioning any unrecognized TPG.

    Maybe the enactment of these new rules has cost them too much money to reinforce so they're going back to the old way. Not because it's better but simply because it's costing them money and manpower. :confused:
