Weird, I read about everyone's good luck with Wheats lately, and then today I found 5 in a single roll today (40s and 50s but there was one well-worn 1918). Unfortunately I get rolls from multiple banks a day so I don't remember where it came from to get more!

At 2 of the wells fargos by me, they had different dimes today. Usually they're string & sons wrapped (I think garda) but last week I got a brinks plastic-wrapped box, and now this week I got dimes from two IBI Armored Services box. Luckily they're not all new so we'll see how it goes, but I don't remember having good luck with those in the past.

From what I understand they're still using the same armored car company and the other denominations are the same, so it's possible their regional warehouse just ran low on dimes and needed to trade/buy them from another carrier. Maybe it's all the roll searchers around here!

Anyone else noticing a lot of full brand new rolls lately?

Unfortunately, today's ender was the only silver in the box! Oh well, better than zero!

My first box ever was a box of cents today. Nothing terribly special. A few folder fillers, .08 canadian, and the following wheats:

    41, 44, 44D, 46S, 49D, 50S, 50D, 53D, 54D, 55D, 57D. Not too shabby, but a lot of work going through that box lol

@atreides: Mine was from a wells fargo by me in a Brinks box with plastic wrappers as well. ....they suck to open...

went back to the bank where I got $300 cwr halves yesterday and found 22 silver halves. Today I got $50 more of them and got 4 40%ers and a franklin! They still have more but they seem to want to keep them for other customers so it's hard to get them! I would guess they have about 5 more rolls sitting back in the vault with silver waiting to be found!

On a side note, I have a job interview tomorrow for the bank teller position at PNC :D! I'm so excited!

    Tuesday totals
$1 pennies: 16 copper. I didn't save silver in the 60s, I was a kid, didn't know better, won't make the mistake with copper now.
    $8 nickles: 1957D
    $10 dimes,$230 quarters: skunk.
$39 loose dollar coins: Most sacajewa 2000D/P, at least two hole fillers, a JQ Adams P and a Tyler P.

If I got boxes like some of you guys, I wouldn't have the time to do them all, or the place to get rid of them all...

That's great! Were the 22 halves 40% or 90%. Also, Pictures?

Hey Pballer, you should go into the bank reluctant to give you the halves with a disguise/mask on and ask for the halves. :) They'll probably think they're about to get robbed and give you the halves quickly so they can get you to leave

P.S. Not a good idea if this is the bank considering hiring you

Nothing like seeing the extension to the cash office on the phone at my desk these days. "I have one of those funny sounding quarters up here. Do you want it?"

    "Yes please!"

"Also I have 2 of those dollars that look like quarters."

    "I'll be right up."

Granted the 1964 quarter looked like it had drugs cooked on it or something, and I am not much of a fan of Susan B's, but the cash office girls have been on their game finding coins as they are going into the rolls. It sure is nice to skip 2 steps and get them on the way in.

I posted it yesterday, but there were 15 40%ers, 6 90% ken's and a franklin. today I got 4 more 40%ers and another franklin. all together it was only $350 cwr.

Hey North Jersey people, anybody in or around the Morristown-Summit-Union area? I'm planning on driving around that whole area tomorrow and cleaning out most of the banks... I don't want to pick up any boxes that people specifically ordered for themselves, so please give me a heads up if you're in that area and I'll leave your branches alone.

Hey, I'd still take it. My mom bought me a box of cents last year trying to be nice. Solid 2011s. I kept half of the rolls and dumped the other half. Any coin show I go to I take a few with me. I have sold them from anywhere between $1 and $3, and have traded for rolls of wheats.

    Two boxes of halves: skunk
    $50 CWR halves: Two 40%
    $7 loose halves: One 40%
    One Ike: Average '72 D
$5 CWR pennies: Two wheats, 65 coppers

Also picked up a box of pennies for when the mood strikes and I can't get to a bank! I forget who suggested that, but it's a good idea!

Thats a good idea but there are no coin shows here locally and I don't ebay. I went through them to look for any obvious errors but of course there were none. Going to dumb them along with the halves I didn't want and get more halves today. The teller said that she had alot of halves and would keep an eye out for any old ones for me.

Live updates? I'm jonsing, my coin lok bag credits seem to be delayed this week and I have virtually no money until they hit. The convenience is great for dumping but the waiting for the cash parts is not fun.
