How high is the resolution on this thing? It is taking over 2 minutes to load!

Ya, I thought there was a file size limit for uplaoding pictures. It's there for a reason.

Not when the pics are hosted on another site there isn't. And it took about 10 seconds for the pic to load for me. Of course that will vary greatly with your connection.

It is actually amazing how well the details show on that coin. My only problem with such images is that sometimes, when traveling, I go to Coin Talk and other forum sites over a cell/surfstick connection. And then it does take some time until the image shows up ...

Well, you have to be judicious. I don't usually post an image that large, and I considered putting a warning in the subject. But the detail comes at the cost of size, and that is only a small sliver of the coin.

I didn't want to use a tiff format, otherwise it would be about 75 megs.

I'm assuming this is a fine detail on a coin, how about an image of the coin itself.

    See his website. http://www.mrbrklyn.com/manhattan_commem.html

(And since you have that fine page there, Ruben, why not post a smaller image here which serves as, or is accompanied by, a link to that page?)

I don't think that image is on the page though, at least not at that fidelity. If you look really closely, you can see a girl walking her dog on Maiden lane.
