Well, today me and my dad were at a shoe store and my dad picked up a shoe on display, and said it looked worn out. My instant response was, "look for wear on the high points" Anyone else ever say something to do with coins in a completely unrelated situation? I'm not that crazy, at least by comparison, am I!?!
Nope. Just applying your numismatic jargon to everyday life. Keeps you sharp and on top of your game my friend......
You talking about the price of Nikes? I think they are hyper inflated. Artificial high price for a swish on the side of basketball shoes.
Unfortunately its not just Nikes anymore. There are other brands with sneakers also in the hundreds. A little of topic : did anyone hear about the newly released $1000 dollar sneaker? crazy
Didn't hear of them, but I agree, shoes are getting out of hand. Check these out: That's right. You were the fastest in the beginning, so here's a little symbol for encouragement.
New Balance shoes. Manufactured by Americans in the USA! Fair prices, too. For some reason though, not a cool shoe to wear here in the USA. Sad, isn't it?
LOL.... I think I've used coin terms on other circumstances as well. Totally not related to numismatics but the terms came in handy....
Yes. My dad and I wear New Balance because they are nice quality shoes. You can say I'm not the coolest kid around.
sadly, they aren't 100% anymore. i believe the last estimate was around 25% of their shoes were domestically made.
How does it make a kid less cool by wearing instead of ? BTW, I have a VERY hard time finding shoes because I wear size 15.
If you had a pair of these back when I played BB you were king on the court. Love those old 'Cons'. Stop on a dime and pick up nine cents change.......
not coin related, but I had an exam today and in the answer I wrote: A) the answer. B) the answer. c:\ the answer. only computer geeks would understand
