    Hello everyone!

Hoping there is a Swedish coin expert among our numbers...sorting through my foreign silver, found this and have NO idea what to look for to designate the "close pearls" variety. Since there is a significant price jump if it is...figured I'd ask for a bit of guidance.

I apologize for the photos - I am away from my real camera, so I have to use the camera phone. I'm not sure which side has the "close pearls" variety, so bear with me...

(BTW, I'm also interested in your opinions of grade.. :))

    Thanks!

I'd give it a 40-45, but I cannot say if it's close pearls...

This coin is actually from Norway.

    Norway
    10 Ore

    KM #350
    1.5000g
    0.4000ag
    0.0192oz

Danes and Norwegians use the minuscule or Ø

Swedes use the O with umlauts
    Ö

    English - Ore

    Danish and Norwegian - Øre

    Swedish - Öre

    Note: The
Ø is also used in other countries that have a Latin based alphabet (usually by military or police) to distinguish between the letter O and the number 0.

    Example: VPZO-6
    Ø9

Nevertheless, I looked into it (the Swedish coin) and I have no idea what stands as "close pearls" and what doesn't. A chap on ebay is selling one with "close pearls" but that's it, no comparison, no explanation, nothing...just the statement.

BTW: Thank you for catching that...I'd labeled three of them incorrectly...

    1874 10 Ore F/VF
    1890 10 Ore VF/XF
    1876 25 Ore XF
