With close AM or wide AM?, if its wide its worth 1 cent, if it's close I really don't know. Try searching ebay or google it

A wide 1992 cent, D or P, is worth 1 cent. Spend it.

A close 1992 cent is worth more than a cent, but it totally depends on the condition of the coin and if it can be verified as a Close AM. We can't do that without pictures. Do you know the way that you tell the difference.

And if it's circulated, I am sure the value drops considerably. Also, what someone is willing to pay you for a coin may not be close to the "value" of the coin. You have to realize that most people buying coins from other than dealers are not going to be paying anything close to "value" as stated by some guide or something. If you go to a dealer, and it its a close 1992, then you will be lucky to find someone interested in the variant. Most dealers at coin shops don't get into that, or don't want to buy them as they are harder to find a buyer for. And if the coin shows circulation wear, the value really plummets from those "really valuable" prices you might be dreaming of. Like probably less than 25.00 value, meaning maybe someone might purchase it for up to about 10.00 raw if they believed it to be a Close 1992 variety. Could be that the circulation wear puts it even down much lower in value, and therefore what you could get for selling it raw also decreases. The coin could have enough wear that no one really wants it in it's condition.

So I have to ask.... are you so hard up that you 'need' that small amount of money? Even if it's in uncirculated condition, you are not likely to get more than 20 for it. But it has to be evaluated first, and pictures are the only way we can even attempt to do that.

    So....pics, or it didn't happen.

    Alright children, settle down...

Look, if it is at all possible to get a pic of your coin, please, do so. That's the only way we can truly tell you anything all that useful. If you can't, well, there's not much we can help you with... and lets end this discussion.

what exactly is a 3DS? Do you mean a Digital SLI? You dont need that, what you need is just a good picture whether it's from a handheld digital or a scan. In order for people to help we you need to provide a picture or this thread is worthless...Cant help if you dont help us either. OP we here stories like this all the time without people actually backing it up. When you can provide a picture and get back to us.
    Welcome to the forum!

Folks, you need to stop picking on the new people. Not everyone has proper english and the knowledge like you and I; so why take a stab. Yes there are things that we see from new guys all the time however we all have done it at one time or another. This bashing whether intentional or not is not welcome, especially to a new guy..How would you like it if it were you? What a warm welcome to the forum dont you think?

I have no idea what a 3ds is unless you are talking about using a nintendo system. And I don't know how that would take a pic or upload it. If you can get a picture taken or scanned and put on a memory stick and put in your computer and resized to be small enough (1000 X whatever or less) in one of the allowable formats, like jpg or some other one recognised here, then post it. If you can't, then I don't know how to help on this.

Not putting anyone down or picking on them. Just a simple fact that without pics on this forum, we can't give you valid info on the coin. And we can't do it based on some other pic someone takes from the internet that isn't their coin (that's happened here too, where someone puts up someone else's pic of a coin and then is disappointed we can't grade theirs, which we've never seen).

So, hopefully you can get a pic and put it up.
