I've noticed that Perth also has a Turtle as part of the sea life series. It seems to be the only one you do not have.

There is also this Issue by State Mint of Stuttgart for Sao Tome that also features the turtle.

There were actually two - this 10,000 dobras gold coin and a 3,500 dobras silver coin. Designed by Werner Mebert who also designed a few German coins.

How do you find all this information?

Depends. In that particular case the name of the designer was mentioned in the Schön catalog, and the name Mebert rang a bell. (Gerhard Schön "does" a world catalog, a euro catalog, and some others, but his world catalog usually does not have designers names). Anyway, Mebert has been the engraver of several recent German issues too ...

I have two for the wife who likes turtles. I like the fact that a well know mint the New Zealand Mint makes them.:hail:
