Most of you know my propensity to purchase raw Jefferson's, low grade, high grade, doesn't matter. It's a problem either way.
So I scooped up about 70 Jefferson's straight from an album.
Not all are rainbow toned, some are downright nasty, while others didn't tone at all.
    Whatever, I love em all!
Just some beautiful coins, at a very inexpensive price. Thought I would share.

    Here are some highlights:

More modern ones, harder to find naturally toned:

    Some had dripping luster:

Even the proofs joined the toning party. I only imaged one so far:

I don't like toning on any coin except the nickel. Those have really nice toning. Nice pick-ups, G!

Did you buy an old album? The circular toning looks like it. :) - edit, sorry I didn't see you already said it was from an album :(

Was this a Dansco off ebay? I had my eye on a BU one that closed way over what I was looking at spending.

These were all purchased on ebay through a fellow cointalk member. The rest of the coins from the album are still on there, including the key dates. I cherry picked the ones I liked best lol.
Here is a link to them, even though he won't respond to my PM's. What's up with that Motts? :(

Here are his original images from the auction. He is more of a bulk selelr when it comes to things like this, so no need for him to be taking awesome imaegs of each coin in the lot. I could tell from the images that they were something I wanted, and would most definitely look good in hand. I was surprised they had as much lister as they did though. Especially the 47 set.

Thanks for the post gbroke. I just bought the 1940 P for my toned nickel set. Been looking for a 1940 seems like forever. Now if I could just find somebody with a really nice 53-S and 56-D. (hint) :D

    Greg,

Your images have improved by leaps and bounds since last year. I am very impressed. I absolutely love the 1953-D and the obverse on the 1956-D is dynomite!

Very pretty blast white 70's coins as well.

Thanks Paul. Imaging coins has almost overcome the actual pleasure of collecting for me. I always look forward to taking a break from the hustle and bustle of family and work to sit down and shoot a few dozen pictures.
    Man ,what's wrong with me.

Thanks to gbroke's post, I bought the 1940 P from Mott. Got it and love it! Fast shipping, great coin! Been needing that nickel for a very long time. Really happy with it.
