Umm... Yeah. I am stricken with pure jealousy of that there Jefferson. Nice coin and I am only guessing that it reached some high dollars. And because I like where the War Nickels are going, I'll keep that trend rolling
This and the 1944-S are both owned by a PCGS member. I had the of fun imaging both. I'm not sure about the price of each, but I think it would be a safe assumption that there was a premium associated with both. The 1944-S is graded MS67 by PCGS. This 1945-D is an NGC MS65*.
Well, I am not too sure of a 67, but I do see a 66* there. Just too weak of a strike to be a 67 IMO. As for the '45-D, I agree with the grade there.
