I have one more question on the 1/2 dime. On Morgans, there is often problems with the shape of stars. In this very small coin, the starrs are great and well formed. Is that normal? Amanda
to answer your question amanda, i believe it is normal. they are smaller coins and they have smaller details my vf-20 cb half dime has the full splits on the stars
You couldn't edit your first post multiple times and post all that in a single post? Hmmm...multiple posts...reminds me of another member here on CT...just...can't...remember the name... What city do you live in? I'm not stepping within 10 miles of where you live lol.
I purchased a 2012 NGC Proof Kennedy PF6UC today for a nice price of $11 shipped. No pics yet, will update when it comes in. NGC registry position #120 here I come!
Hello If you don't like my posts, don't read them. But attacking someone is a violation of forum rules. Thank You Amanda
Picked this one up today. Nothing too fancy, but fills a spot in my Uncirculated 20th Century type set! MS62.
Yeah, the back is what grabbed me. I love how white it is first of all, but the reverse just has to be 64. the front is very much a 61 or 62, so it teeters right there on the edge.
beautiful coin goincarcrazy! Guess I will post my new purchase up in multiple threads too, it seems like the thing to do.
Just for fun I thought I would add a Hobo Nickel to my collection. Never had one before. I wanted something that still had enough of the original image, to be obvious to the viewer, but still showed the the design modification and artistic enhancement of the carver. I settled for this one.
The Barber quarter posted earlier rang a bell. Here is a piece I picked up a while ago, it came back from grading and is in auction. First year of issue: Edited ~ auctions go in proper subforum.
I'm not trying to promote anything. It's the only image I have of the coin. Plus images I have posted have never resulted in bids from this site, you can be sure of that!
