I remember that 4th largest in the world sign, and Bensonhoist, didn't Archie Bunker live there? I lived in Flatbush for a couple of years.
What do you think the value of this cleaned coin? I was told that this coin was cleaned but the picture appears to be purposely done blurry and in the dark to make the coin look better than it is. What do you think the value is? I didn't know someone tried to make it white faced.
Archie Bunker talked just like my grandfather. He worked in Navy yard for 30 years. He not only pronounced Bensonhurst as Bensonhoist, he said youse kids. And called oil "earl."

Sorry about the double post. Maybe my so called wireless provider snapped out of their coma as I was punching the submit button with a knuckle.
Moving to Brooklyn (I worked at Brooklyn Polytech) from South Carolina, I remember one of the students telling me "Youse-guys in de South shouldn' say you-all"
It is in fact used in cases of stained copper (circulated). I can't believe you guys haven't heard of it. That "nutty guy" you refer to may not be so nutty. The restoration services as well as many coin shops use it too.
Their methods are proprietary (mostly). I only know because my brother works for one of the main ones. How do you know what they don't don't use anyway??? Anyway, it is a miracle cure for circulated copper and leaves no ill effects if done properly.
OK, can you please tell us what restoration service it is that your brother works for ? And can you perhaps tell us the names of these other restoration services ?
meh, dont even clean your coins at all..it can take the value out of it most of the times..but if you do , ive seen a trick were you use salt and vinegar just rub them two on the coin. but be careful this might take the tone out or scratch it, not the best way to clean coins..but you can try..
