I've found yet another double stamp in my great grandfather/grandfathers collection. Looks to be a type 1 if I'm not mistaken. As usual the high def images first, followed by the reflective surface images. Any ideas on what the grade might be, and if it would be wise to have this sent off to be graded? Thank You! -JP
Everything in my cpg shows this is the big one. Its about a ms64 details but that green patch of verdigris? Would leave it bodybagged unless you sent it to ncs then ngc. In ms-63 it says 360 but I think that the pricing in CPU is as much as 20% over fair market. Cody
It's not "double stamped", it's a "doubed die obverse". VERY nice example! MS-64RD with a shot at 65. I'd send it to PCGS.
