Just got a 1912c 1/12 ANNA as I collect Colonial coins now and again so had a shot at this. It's graded by NGC as MS65...no idea of value as it wasn't
    expensive.

Just got this one in today. A gold 1935 Swiss Helvetia 20 Francs. I fell in love with this coin when I first seen it, and its taken me a while to finally get one.

A few pictures and a couple of questions.

I went to a coin show today and came out with a nice haul, especially considering I don't have much money to buy coins right now. But I did finally find an imperial German 1 Mark coin.

It looks nice, but I don't know about the grade or whether it's been cleaned, as I don't have a good eye for these things. Does anyone else know? I don't care that much, but I can't help being curious.

I also found this strange coin.

It says it's from Coblenz and has "Kriegsgeld" on the back, so I guess it's emergency war money, but I didn't know Notgeld coins existed, I thought they were just paper.

Finally, are there any Napoloen I coins that aren't really expensive? Everything the one world/ancient coin guy had was a bit much for me. It's understandable, considering their age.

The notgeld issued during or shortly after WW1 (Kriegsgeld = war money) was either coins or paper; later issues, especially from the hyperinflation years, were mostly paper. As for the city, back then it was Coblenz, Prussia - today it is Koblenz, Rhineland-Palatinate.

I feel the same with the French Rooster. I tried to buy one in NY on 47th street, and was laughed at by the store owner... because I only wanted one.

Got this key date penny today in the post
It was in the album picture above I got it for 9GBP if I had of bought the penny alone it would have been 20-30GBP,the pictures where in the description of what was in the folder, I could see the penny in it but no one else did apparently, so now the album will be sold (without the 51 penny for mai collection) and the cost of the penny will be reduced even more!

A few years ago I was looking for an album like that for British pennies and couldn't find that one even existed. It would have been nice, but now I have them all in 2x2s.

Tarantella, there's a lot of kriegsgeld coins out there, though many were made of inferior metal and didn't hold up as well. And I also wanted a Napoleon I coin for cheap. I managed to get one in a smaller denomination for not very much. It just has the letter N, not his picture. If you want his picture I think it would be silver and probably more expensive.

    Hello

That seems to be rather unique. I don't recall seeing anything like that. And for it to come from Turkey is very interesting. I wonder what form of propaganda the Turkish military was trying to portray.

Lot of coins from Bahrain, neatly packed with tape :D

For a price of 1.9$ + 4$ shipping I can not complain, the two FAO coins sell locally for at least 20$ each and there is 2$ of current coinage in the lot.

The eBay seller made a mistake by having the listing end early morning on a week day.

I just purchased a 1964 US Proof set for £8.58 ($13.45). The melt value of the Silver in the coins alone comes to £10.89 ($17.07). Great Bargain.

Not to mention that these coins also have numismatic value. I'd say I easily picked these up for half-price.
