Christ Follis

This is one of the coins I purchased back in November that the postal service couldn’t deliver but UPS had no problem.

The description on the holder reads:
Roman IV
1068-1071
Anonymous Follis
Class G
Bust of Christ
Bust of Virgin Mary
Sear 1866

The asking price was $12.00 but I bought 8 different Ancient coins for just $5.30 each. Just this coin makes me think the price was a good one.

I don’t know if this is correct information or not. I’m also not sure the reverse side is right side up or upside down. It’s a little worn. I do like these types of Christ coins.

Nice coin! The reverse has a significant die shift, so it is double struck. Very nice obverse.
