Just for it being a coin -- $400 for a slabbed Morgan If you want to count coins that are worth more as just bullion --- $2100 for a 50 peso Gold.
^Mine was $35 raw and in about the same shape for the same type. Most ive spent is $300 and it was for my seated liberty dollar in about VF30 condition.

I don't keep track, but probably somewhere around $1500. I've paid more for currency. If I kept better records I'd might eventually force myself to seek help and quit. So, I'll never keep any records. Guy

I bought a Modern commemorative a few years ago, the Buffalo for about $160. I thought that was a lot! lol
$1200.00 for a 1874 3 dollar princess. (au58, pcgs). always wanted one. completed my gold piece type set.
$300 for a 14D cent back in my wheatie collecting days. Most I've spent on a coin for the current type collection is $250 for a 1906 Barber Half. Most of my coins are in the $100-150 range.
