Help ID 1609 copper coin

This is not my coin or my picture, it belongs to a friend, he believes it to be Spanish.
Its about the size of a Large Cent, I checked my 1600-1700 Krause but I`m stumped
Any help would be appreciated.

looks spanish to me davey, i couldn't be certain though.............

 

Spanish Netherlands. start with KM# 24.2 and see which fits the description best.
