I got this brilliant idea to buy $200 in $1 coins to give to my sister as her college graduation present. I know, not too creative giving her money, but it's really what a new college grad needs nowadays. So, what do I do to make this cash gift as annoying as possible for her? Yes, not totally collecting related, but buying those 8 rolls from the bank sure made me an obvious collector. For all you roll searchers, I got a mix of Jacksons, Jefferson's, 2011 sacs, and fillmores. Not a collector of these, so I don't know if any cold be a big deal.
Well...if you wanted to get really annoying, buy $200 worth of cents, and carry it in a 5 gallon bucket.
Wrap each one in a cute little package... one coin each in a Kleenex (kind of like a Hershey kiss) and tied off at the top with a little ribbon. Estimated time to wrap, a little over an hour, estimated time to unwrap, about half that. Triple tissue and ribbon with a knot instead of a bow, much longer to unwrap. have fun!
