mrbrklyn, why do you insist on posting B.S.? You're just taking up server space. Again.

Yep - this was supposed to be your most expensive coin - not all of them.

He doesn't own ANY OF THEM. He's posting rare coins from the internet worth thousands and saying he got them for $75. Look them up in the red book.

I was going to let the first one go. Then he had to post two more trying to derail an interesting thread. Obviously a couple people have already been fooled. Some people are just desperate for attention I guess.

The coin in my avatar, probably worth a grand. I've also owned an 1891 O in MS63 DPL. Here's another favorite I no longer own:

Not going to reveal my most expensive coin for obvious reason :D but this is my most expensive purchase of this year.

I had a thread a week ago or so. Paid $68.00 for a 1964 Kennedy PF68 Cameo. Turned out to be a 1964 Accent Hair PF68 Cameo, which is worth more like $750.00 (at least according to numismedia). SO that would be my most valuable coin.

Coin I spent the most money on was a 1923 Peace MS65 CAC. Paid 165.00 for it, it's worth around $150.00 without CAC.

I have a small series of modern American proof gold coins from the 1984 Olympics ($10) up through the 1989 Bicentennial of Congress ($5), and a gold proof 1982 Canadian $100 coin for the Patriation of the Constitution.

None of the coins in my real collection are that valuable. Instead $20 slabbed libs I bought long ago are still work more than my most expensive DMPL.

The most expensive coin in my collection is a well worn 1916-S Barber Dime that has been so harshly cleaned that you would say "Yuck" if you saw it in person.

It's downright ugly, yet I've kept it for more than 40 years in it's original packaging from the coin dealer that I purchased it from (for the ridiculous price of 50 cents).

The reason it's the most expensive coin in my collection is because it was also the very first coin I purchased as a child and a new collector.

If I hadn't purchased this ugly old Barber Dime, I wouldn't be a collector today and I wouldn't have spent so much @#$*& money on coins for the last four decades.

    Expensive indeed!

I'd have to say my 1839 O reverse of 38 half dime that I bought from my great grandmother I paid the high price of 30 dollars for it thinking it was a regular half dime as a kid
