I remember when you got that 3-center. Stunning.

 

lol, when I went home on leave, after the initial hugging/kissing; I asked my wife... "did you bring the 3 cent piece?" I spent the rest of my leave apologizing...

 

Unfortunately, there is not a "like like like like like" button!

That trime is spectacular!

 

Not a U.S. coin but I think she makes the cut.

 

Wow that three center looks like it should be from 1969 and not 1869 with those vibrant colors!

 

Is the 3-center a cameo? I love the toning, thus being why I have always wanted one of those as a proof.

 

Purchased a Kennedy Dansco. Every proof from 1970-1997 is toned.
I'll start with this one, since it's the only proof I imaged from the album.

The pics don't do it justice, but it is going with my set of toned 1960 proof set I am working on. I reshot the others as well using axial lighting with my point 'n shoot kodak.



Just need the dime and Quarter to complete it.

 

You definantly don't want those amazing, wonderful, eh-hem, worthless coins. you should send them to me for proper "disposal"

Would you call this toned or tarnished or is that what these toned coins are.

 

Posted this in the Latest Acquisitions, but have since taken it out of the slab for better photos. Less glare and no scratched up slab.
