Like to apologize to anybody, especially Mr. Brooklyn:

I would like to apologize in full public to anybody I may have offended the past two or so days. There have been some personal issues, and they've been putting me in a nasty and sarcastic mood. So, I wish to apologize to the people I may have ticked off, especially Mr.Brooklyn. He's got me on ignore, but if you would please share this with him (those of you who are his buddies), I'd greatly appreciate it. I was needlessly argumentative, for no reason but my personal situations.

    Thanks,

    Morgandude11--David

Thanks, Kentucky. I am not the biggest guy in the world. Just made some stupid mistakes all around this week, and apologizing for them--have some minor issues going on.

We all go through periods like that. We have all been there. Hang in there man.

No worries morgandude, when I have a bad day, I take it out on CT members. It's better than kicking my dog.

Yeah, definitely better to do that--I couldn't kick my cats anyway, as they run away far too fast. :) Feeling better today--I have a totaled knee that over the years has deteriorated. Really need a knee replacement, but am "too young" according to my ortho doc. Too old to run after the cats, but too young for a rebuilt knee...lol

Let me say one this about Ruben… when I first joined CT it was Ruben’s sense of humor that kept me coming back; his threads and comments were full of knowledge and wit (and darn right funny at times). Then he went through some well publicized personal problems and sort of disappeared for awhile. Now that he’s back, I’ve noticed a change in his postings… a little less humorous, a little more blunt, but still plenty of excellent numismatic info, all free of charge.

Ouch man. I can relate. I go through serious back issues, for months at a time. If I'm not on my meds, It's not a picnic to be around me. :)

Ruben reminds me of a teacher I had in high school. At first I thought he was a nut case but then I realized that when he answered your question, you still had to do some research to find out exactly what he was getting at. He never gave direct final answers. I learned a lot from his methods and most have stuck with me through the years.

I'm sorry, but I can't accept your apology because you didn't say anything to irritate me.

Ya gotta take Ruben for who he is.......the mayor of Brooklyn. He's direct, to the point and he don't pull no punches.....:)

Yeah, Most New Yorkers, especially those from the city, and especially those from Brooklyn, aren't really noted for subtlety. I mean no disrespect by that, (please don't break my kneecaps!). :)

Just a different way of communicating.

Edit: Btw, my ex is from upstate NY, so I hope that is not affecting my view of New Yorkers, and if it is I apologize to our Empire State members. :)

G, I'm sure you've heard the saying, If you don't have anything nice to say about someone, don't say anything at all.

    You leave me speechless!

Hey, before I moved to CA, I lived and worked in Brooklyn and learned to appreciate their delicate sense of humor, so up your nose with a rubber hose :) Actually some of the nicest people I have ever known.
