Maybe I'm crazy, since so many people here like that coin, but: to me it looks like an "ugly" coin, with some very odd, "splotchy" toning. Someone else here said "is seriously missing luster"--So much so that I'd say, "Altered Surfaces", & should be in a "Genuine", or "Details" holder.

    Plus, it's such a common date, so.......why?

I wouldn't crack it, unless you just want it on the holder. I wouldn't call it it FBL based on the pictures, but I also had two FBL PCGS coins submitted to CAC and they both came back with CAC stickers. This has led me to believe that I might be too hard on the FBL designation...

Behold the power of Microsoft Paint! :)

Nice coin, BTW. The toning is a bit unusual but not unattractive.

    A keeper.

    Leadfoot there is no spoon

Tough to say going from your photos....

Do you have better photos of the bell line?

They typically are better shown by lighting the coin from 6 o'clock.

Perhaps you might take another picture and post it.

    THanks...Mike.

p.s. lol @ AU comments on a coin that almost certainly spent its life and toned in a mint set.
