The 20F and 50F were both struck in mintages of 100,000 coins. I have them both graded in MS66...so they were not impossible to find, but I had to be patient. The 100F coin was minted in 98,000 coins with the designers name on the reverse, and in 2,000 coins without the designer's name on the reverse. I wanted the less common one, so I had to be patient with that one also. Turns out I snagged one graded MS66 by PCGS on Teletrade about 1.5 months ago.

All in all, I looked for them all for about 9 months, and strangely I found all three of them in the past 2 months. Maybe what they say about the market's coming to life in the winter/spring is true, and the summer is a dead time (because people are too busy?).

I finally found an affordable example of the 1910 Drachma. For a coin with a mintage of 4.5 million pieces, this little guy is incredibly hard to find in AU or better grade for less than $100. Sorry for the images, this is the most scratched up slab I have ever seen!

You need a bottle of this stuff: http://slabrenew.com/ You will be shocked at how well it works. NGC holders take a little more work because the plastic is harder than PCGS, but if you don't mind spending 10 minutes polishing the plastic, the results are remarkable. Not quite like new, but so clear that having the coin reslabbed is no longer something you will be thinking about. Nice coin btw.

I have 2 bottles of that stuff....and a bottle of Mom's plastic polish. Neither worked. I'll give it another 5-10 minutes of buffing tonight and see if that does any justice.

Works best if you use a circular motion, -you probably know that already. If slb-renew doesn't work, it must really be messed-up pretty bad.

It helped...but it didn't work like it usually does. Like I said, I have around 300 slabbed coins, and this is the worst I have ever seen. Might be worth the $10 reslab fee (or whatever it is nowadays). :) Thanks for the advice though.
