    Just a simple poll here.

Do you belong to the ANA? Why or why not?

No. Not yet, anyway. No specific reason why I have not.

Yes I signed up for the ANA because I wanted to attend the ANA Summer Seminars. Then I came to the realization that I wouldn't be able to make it this year. Not even sure what my number is, but I have a membership.

I was, but I have let my membership lapse since being in Afghanistan. I will rejoin once I return.

I belong. The association magazine (The Numismatist) is worth the membership alone.......

I agree, the magazine is the main reason I will rejoin. I like it better than any other coin related magazine out there.

Yes, I am. Be employed part-time at a newly-established coin shop, the owner felt it was necessary to sign me up.

My response - "Heck, yeaaaah!". ;)

Not a member. One simple reason is that the first A is short for American, and I'm European. :) Maybe, if I focused on US coinage, it would make some sense. But here in Germany I am not a member of any numismatic association either.

Ya know Christian? It took me a year to figure out you were from Germany. I figured NW meant North West (US), DE (Delaware) EU (European Union)......I just thought you did a whole bunch of traveling around........:)

I was a member more than 20 years ago and had to let my membership lapse at the time. I do plan on rejoining in the future.

No, but I'm looking into it because of this thread.........

A little off-topic: NW is the state where I live (North Rhine Westphalia), DE is the Federal Republic of Germany, and EU is indeed the European Union. :) But in a way you're right - I was in (hm, drove through) Delaware in 2010, and next month I'll be in Oregon and Idaho. Pretty "NW" too, hehe.

I'd like to but not yet. With a new girl on the way, moving into a new home, and paying taxes this year, it's on the backburner until after this summer.
