1971d kennedy ddr

    I found this 1971 d Kennedy half dollar you can see about 6 or 7 letters are double die, sorry about the crappy pics i have no idea how you guys get great close ups photo(24).jpg photo(25).jpg photo(26).jpg photo(27).jpg

    Can't see anything in those photos.

    Anyway you can get closer up, and eliminate the green haze?

    That looks flat and make me want to believe it's Mechanical Doubling (MD) very noticable in the "AM"

    I did.

    Maybe shoot the entire coin instead of the points you have. Hold the loupe right on the camera lens and adjust either your distance from the coin, or the use the closeup/distance bar to adjust the size in the camera frame.

    Thank you now I know all I have is a 5x magnifying glass, I just ordered 3 loupes 10x 20x 30x that should help alot

    A 10x loupe should do fine.

    Here's a couple of a Merc dime I took using the loupeoncameralens technique:
