No, just severely ticked at all the counterfeiting operations that go on in China. They reverse engineer our electronics and sell them on the black market. iPhones, and Expensive Minelab/White's Metal detectors are being counterfeited. Gold bars, silver bars are being counterfeited. Coins, both ancient and modern get counterfeited. They are even faking PCGS/NGC slabs too. Gold and silver jewelry are being faked. I've seen large gold rings marked 14K sold on some websites for $20 with made in china stickers on them. They are faking sterling rings too. Usually stainless steel with a Sterling/925 mark. They are also faking antiques too. Tiffany lamps are popular. Most have no comprehension of how badly this is damaging the market, and most have no comprehension of how many operations there are across the pond. So while I do not hate the Chinese, I wish for all counterfeiting operations and those involved in China to be blasted off the map.
Oh, hey.....you guys seen my soap box? I let a few folks use it over on the DC thread and........oh there it is. Detecto found it. Bring it back when you're done buddy.....
So so far we've found three different dealers offering "the hardest coin to acquire". I was going to guess the 1873-S standard dollar. They made them for circulation and we have documentation that they made them and at least one was sent back east to Philadelphia, but not a single one is known to exist today, though there have been rumors of pieces. That seems like it would be a very hard piece to acquire
Nope BTW - Love these! http://www.talismancoins.com/servlet/Categories?keyword=Birds+Crown and these!! http://www.talismancoins.com/servlet/Categories?category=Dinosaurs No Manhattan coin though. Nice site though for Perth coins
Barber's version of the 1906 redesign of the Double Eagle awarded to St Gaudens. There is only one, it's price is listed at priceless, and it resides in the Smithsonian.
I just called MPO, and yes, they do have it in stock. That would be this one: http://www.ma-shops.com/mpo/item.php5?id=5081 Christian
I noticed your posts to likes ratio is a little out of wack, so I obliged. Is this like the show "who's line is it anyways?", where the points don't even matter?
Hmmm flat rate box priority, 4.95...+10 million in insurance. Might as well fly there and pick it up.
