"*Fine Crafts With Collectible Value" at the bottom of every listing cracks me up. I guess they think that's their "out." It's handicrafts! Just part of our lifestyle boutique!

And "LittletONO" is still possibly my favorite typo-squatting attempt of all time.

The problem with Facebook is everything is done by bots.
No one is looking at your post when they take it down or put it back up. There is no one to talk to, no one to write to, no one to reason with.
I got put in Facebook jail when they decided that a post I put up 7 years ago went against their community standards, before they enacted the current fascist regime. The post was not mine. It was something I copied and pasted from FACEBOOK, and posted it in a TINY private group. (It was funny.) No one could see this post that wasn't a member of this minuscule group, and no one was offended. But bots don't understand sarcasm or humor, and if a trigger word or image is used, etc. The only appeal was to a kangaroo bot court, so I figured it's not worth it. The photo was Dahmer eating a hamburger and he says: This doesn't taste like 5 guys to me.
So Jack while your intentions are honorable, and your integrity is the highest, you may find some roadblocks with these particular sellers/ads/website.

I guess it's based on Littleton Stamp & Coin; a totally legitimate outfit based in Littleton, NH. It opened in 1945.

Yes they are a legitimate company. And even the coins are of decent grade. However, all of their prices are 2-3X the book value which you could buy at a brick and mortar coin shop. Which almost all of them have disappeared. My old one was complaining about Ebay many many years ago, and one day I dropped by and they had disappeared.
Littleton's marketing strategy is to give you an inducement. A loss leader. They will give you a decent deal on some coins the very first time, but then you have agreed for them to ship you coins (which you can accept or reject) and I think even the first return envelope is postage paid? The coins they sent me were very nice, but the prices were absurd. The 1st time in Colorado in the early 90's (before everything was on the internet) I bought a silver dime (merc) and a silver half (Walker) prob for $4.95? Which turned out to be a good deal later. They sent me some coins which I liked but the prices were too high, I sent them back and was taken off the mailing list. You are only supposed to do this 1 time, but after I moved to NM I did it one more time, and I received Ford Nixon and Reagan Pres dollars 2 mints, 6 coins for face. And this time there was no fine print in the ad about being put on a subscription, but they sent coins again anyway. I wrote them a letter and said the coins they sent me were very nice and if they were charging me book value I would be a customer. But they were charging over 3x the value of the coins and I can't be a customer at that price and please remove me from your mailing list.

But even Littleton would not sell counterfeits. I don't believe it is the same company.

Like drug dealers and roaches - they just keep popping back up like whack-a-mole.

    Thanks for your efforts Jack!

Back in the 70's when I was about 10, I filled out one of those tiny magazine forms with like 50 cents and sent to Littleton. They sent me a couple packages in the mail with a BUNCH of coins. I remember telling all my friends if you fill this out you get a bunch of free coins! Well, then they were sending snail mail payment demands for 6 months for not returning the coins - hell, I was 10 years old, they can kiss those coins goodbye - dummies!

Yes I could have kept the coins and not paid them (back in the day), but I sent them back. The 2nd time the fine print WAS NOT IN THE AD, and they still signed me up for the subscription service which I didn't think was very nice since I sent in my $6 and received my 6 pres dollars, how can they sign you up for the sub. service if you never agreed to it in print etc.? That seemed a bit sketchy to me. It's possible they had it in their master ad, and when I got it (in Parade, or something) it was missing.
