Anyone know about these, found this one at one of the local dealers for next to nothing. As far as I know it is one of three clashes or perhaps another one?! The notable clashes are with a seated liberty quarter, seated liberty half or the rare $20 liberty gold. The $20 liberty gold clash is the rarest and very sought after. Any idea which one I might have based off this pic?

Nice find. There is a whole book on these by Mr Snow.

I'm not sure it's a clash. And if it is I don't believe it is one of the three mentioned.

It's not a match to any of the three you are thinking of.
I could post images of them but they are not even close.
I can't even match it to a regular clash from the FE reverse.
Not sure what you have. Are you sure it's a clash?

That has to be a variety of some kind. Look at the beak area, where the beak is above the crack line. It is pre mint release damage. I cracked die? Planche problem?

that crack also goes under the numbers.

We really need a better image to tell much more.
It's possible there is some type of glue on the coin.

Well, its not a crack or planchet defect. I will post a cleaner picture here in an hour or so. I was real curious and away from the office where I have a better capability. Ended up using a cell phone camera.

Here's a little bit better photo. Is it more clear? Any other opinions?

A few more close ups. Area is raised and it isn't any sort of glue.

Interesting - not sure what caused it, but you could send it to Rick Snow.

Does Mr. Snow have a website I can contact him through? I thought maybe indiancent.com is his but I wasn't sure.

I believe I've seen this pattern before on the internet, although I can't seem to find anything now.
