    ... and a couple more added to the toned FT rosy set ... long way to go there. Really like the 49D... yellow and blue toning that the pic does not adequately capture. I've seen nickels with yellow and blue toning, this is the first dime I've seen with it..... somewhere in that mix the ever beloved green resides.

    And, the last of my recent Heraldic Art Medal purchases. This is Medal #8, issued in 1961 to commemorate the centennial of the Civil War. The obverse has a nice patina, and the relief of both sides (especially the horse) are very eye catching.
