Here's a couple pics from the good box I had over the weekend. I was 0 for 8 before this one.



Check out the copper coming through on a couple of those 40%ers. The others are in real nice shape and look like 90%er's before I pulled them.

I did two boxes of halves over the weekend.....both skunks. My last 21 boxes have yielded only 20 silvers.....less than one per box.

Just did a box of halves and got 12 40%ers. I have only done 6 or 7 boxes and that is my best one so far so I was pumped about it. What was strange was the most of the rolls with silver had 2 or even 3 in them... only one of the rolls with silver had just one in it. Exciting. Getting another box later this week.

Box of dimes gave up 2 roosies this evening, a '63 and '64.

 

Im now with you HOTN. I've been ordering loomis boxes for 6 weeks now with 3 x 40% to show for it. Unfortunately Loomis runs my town. When i brought another 2 boxes home this evening my wife says "great another hour wasted getting skunked" Sure enough she was right. My only success this week was 3 roosies in 1 box of dimes. the other 5 boxes were skunks.
Interesting side note- one roll of halves contained 3-1987's 2 D's and a P. Through em back in my dump bucket anyway.

Four boxes of nickels : 4 war, a 1935 buff, and a 2006s.

5 cwr of halves... one 40% and a clad proof. 2 cwr quarters... nothing.

 

Yesterday, I went to 10 different banks. My total take:
I found 1 box......opened it in the parking lot and they were all re-wrapped dumps. I dumped it at my next spot
I found a total of $27 of halves (one CWR, the rest loose) with 2 40%ers to show for it.

Silver is much harder to find right now....

Got denied trying to cash in some halves today at a bank. I have been in there a couple times before asking to buy halves but they never have any. I figured I would drop some off for the person who always beats me to the punch, so I guess he will be dissappointed he won't be able to search through my dump.

Total: $13.50 ($3.50 profit)

 

OK, so who buys state quarters for $0.50 from you? Last I knew they were worth $0.25. I need to get in on that, I would never search for silver again with profits of $3.50 a roll.

Box of dimes, my first dime box skunk. Ouch!

 

Too excited to wait on this post! Real crap start tho. I called a branch of my new pick up bank and was told they had $1000 in halves. Wicked excited, I jumped over there this morning with $250. Once I got the yellow String and Sons to the car, I realized I had someone's dirty dumps. I blew thru them anyways (only to find a 2001 D covered with an Obama sticker...too funny) Dropped that dirty dump like a hot potato. I returned to that branch and asked if they were all yellow and if someone dropped them. She confirmed and I blew outta there. Placed another call to my personal/regular bank in a different town and she said she had no probs supplying me with $250. I get there only to realize that she had to crack open a new box to accommodate me. I pleasantly tell her to hold on to them as I will most likely get the rest tomorrow.

You better believe I'm gonna do that. I got (1) NIFC, (1) 40% '67 and this BEAUTY, ....my very first one ever. (over the moon!)
