When you carry an Ike and 2 silver dimes in your pocket at almost all times. I take the care to put the dimes in the gumball machine containers, separate, because one is a merc and the other a barb.

accidental double post

 

When you once fed like 9 dollars into a gumball type machine that gave you old US or foreign coins at a 50/50 chance, for 50 cents apiece. I got an ihc, a V nickel, a mercury dime, wheats. It was awesome!

 

When you start contemplating which is more important. That coin you wanted at the store or the monthly electric bill.

 

When you pay your electric bill with your coin collection.
