Bunch of proof Lincolns. That's correct, but the teaser part is the better photos Here's the quarter thing you are looking at (Canadian nickel) and a few more just finished photos
Okay, had to call it a night, ran out of 2x2s to place the rest in... Gotta run and get more, but probably not soon. Pics are coming up.
Junk bin find, paid $2.30. Catch the date? Yeah, 1896-S. http://www.numismedia.com/cgi-bin/c...&nmcode=12711500&guide=prices&guide2=pricesms Sure, it's not a G4... probably a PO1. But heck, for $2.30, to get one of the many semi-keys of the barber dime series? I'll take it.
Oh, almost forgot, I picked these up from the same dealer last night; www.cointalk.com/t204045/ Also picked up 6 1976 mint sets for 15 cents over face each, and 8 sealed 1968 mint sets for $6.50 each.
I bought this a few weeks ago. PCGS PR67 BN. Paid through the nose for it (but it was worth it, to me at least!)
How many boogers we talkin' about? http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HFPgdxWmXJg#t=30s
Ive decided to build a set of coins of this particular Roman empress, Lucilla. I already have one reverse type so these are 2 new additions with different reverses, there is about 14 or so total. The bottom one is a very scarce reverse type. Lucilla (164 - 183 A.D.) AR Denarius O: LVCILLA AVGVSTA, draped bust right. R: IVNO REGINA, Juno standing left, holding patera and sceptre, peacock at her feet. Rome 19mm 3.4g RIC 772; RCV 41; RCV 5487 Lucilla (164 - 183 A.D.) AR Denarius O: LVCILLAE AVG ANTONINI AVG F, Draped bust right. R: DIANA LVCIFERA, Diana standing left holding torch with both hands. Rome 17.5mm 3.4g RIC 762 RSC 14 Scarce
I don't know why this one eluded me so long. I looked for a couple of years. But one came along. A pleasant AU50, ex-Jules Reiver. Here it is, along with two other popular varieties for 1835. Lance.
