This is my 100th post on the forum here and I just wanted to thank the community for welcoming me here and sharing their incredible wealth of knowledge.

I would like to give this prize to a young collector (15 and under) to jump start a new series for them. The prize will be a nice starter set of Buffalo nickels. The collection will be a minimum of twenty different dates and/or mint marks. First to answer correctly is the winner.

The question is: What is the only silver dollar produced by the US mint in the twentieth century not in my collection?

Hint: This is a trick question and may require some homework.

    GOOD LUCK!

Snapsalot, If you send me a PM with the correct answer, I'll send you a few. Us old guys (I'm 35) gotta stick together or these young whippersnappers will take over the world.

Old? Old? You think 35 is old? I passed that milestone 30 years ago!

By the way, in your initial post, you didn't specify an ending date for the contest. If nobody gets the correct answer, some of the YN's could be your age by the time someone guesses it correctly.

There is no end date, the first to answer correctly will be the winner.

Actually, I used to ride a unicycle to school because my bike kept getting stolen. It was about a mile and a half ride each way, but I didn't mind the ride home because my favorite coin shop was at about the mid way point.

BTW, I went through some of my duplicate Buffalos, and the prize will be a total of 25 different coins.

Well I have started a set of buffs, but have a question. What is considered, by you, as a silver dollar? Does that include Ikes. Would it only be the silver ikes? Would you go so far as to include the SBA dollars? I'll send you a guess...

Took a guess. Not a U.S. coin expert so I gave it a try with like 15 minutes of research. XD

Well, clad Ikes and SBAs wouldn't count, I'm sure.
But guessing date and type for a dollar in from the 20th century, seems like that'd take forever. And mintmark too? There's a handful of Morgans, Peace, 40% Ikes, both classic and modern Commemoratives, and ASEs. That's a lot to choose from. Seems like a really tough contest.
