ok, i am now confused. is it the 1939, rev of 1938? or is it the 1939, rev of 1940? there is some kind of "variety" early on and i can't tell them apart.

Picked up this little lady from a local shop. A few unfortunate hairlines away from a 64 grade. One of these days I'll send it off - I'm guessing PCGS gives it a 62-63 grade. I like buying these fives, but a set that I KNOW I could never even come close to finishing. LOL

 

Made a couple of deals and got some more hole fillers this week.

I thought I'd add my newest NON Barber - for my Dad's Birth Year Collection...

 

It's too soon to tell, but I am pretty sure I just picked up a 1981 s type 2 set for $4 at a yard sale...

Bought two sets, from the naked eye the mint marks look vastly different between sets...meaning one should be regular and the other should be type 2!

Fingers crossed...

I think in set 2 the Kennedy half 1981-S is a clear 'S'. The rest are closed/filled.
